DC-based startup Sandboxx provides a paid electronic mail service to send letters to recruits in boot camp. I worked with their team of developers to design a web app to accompany their mobile application.
Using their existing mobile application as a guideline, I created the user flow and wireframes for the application. This is a part of the flow the user sees when they send a letter.
This map interface solution allows officers to quickly move through pending trips. It gives the officers the ability to clearly see where these trips are coming from geographically, as well as the order in which they have arrived.
The final mockups are a product of the results from my research, user testing, and client feedback. I used the OIT Design Guide to guide the visual design.
I created a UI kit to insure that future iterations of the app will continue to have a consistent look and feel, even if I’m not the one designing it. I included the below guidelines as well as other custom icons I illustrated and other detailed guidelines.
The final mockups are the product of the integration of several iterations of designs.
